In which case you must follow this documentation ?

Your store is under Prestashop or Magento and your BeezUP module is respectively in a version prior to v4.0.0 for Prestashop or v5.0.0 for Magento 1, your BeezUP’s module need an upgrade, You have to do the following steps before September the 30th 2021.

Prestashop : last module version : BeezUP_v4.0.9

Magento 1 : last module version : BeezUP_v5.1.3

If you are directly connected to our API v1, please update your integration so that it now uses API_v3.

1 - Prestashop :

1.1 - Most Important :

  • Custom dev : In the case that earlier dev has been made on the BzzeUP module currently installed on your Prestashop, make sure that you made a backup of the following repository “Modules/BeezUP” on your FTP server.

  • Before the update : Make screenshots for all settings of the current module installed on your Prestashop, especially on the Product Feed menu and the Order Management menu. It will be easier to do again it on once the upgrade will be install.

1.2 - Update steps :

You can update BeezUP module directly in your prestashop back office, on the Module menu => Module Management : https://i.imgur.com/Ywh30Mh.png

You have to upload the zip file of the new BeezUP’s module. In the case that the uploading don’t work, you have to make it directly on your server by FTP, see below the specific case “upload by FTP”.

In the between the API’s connection will be interrupted, so you just have to refill the previous credentials(Token) of your BeezUP shop account here : https://i.imgur.com/fOBTejp.png

Our module size is : 3.05Mo

If our module exceeds the maximum size allowed on your server, before updating the BeezUP module you should increase the memory, is else, you better upload it directly on trough your FTP.

Details here:

1 – Use Winrar or Winzip to open the zip module file

2 – Upload it on your FTP, by overwriting the previous one in the repository “Modules/BeezUP”

3 – Check the version on you Prestashop Module Menu :

Some Prestashop need one more step to complet the upgrade.

Go to Module Management Menu and click on the upgrade button in front of the BeezUP Module.

2.1 - Most Important :

2.2 - Update steps :

Before updating the BeezUP Module on Magento 1, you must first completely uninstall the old version of the BeezUP module on your Magento 1.

You must then upload the new version of the BeezUP module to your FTP repository "Modules"

In the between the API’s connection will be interrupted, so you just have to refill the previous credentials(Token) of your BeezUP shop account in the new BeezUP module on your Magent, here : https://i.imgur.com/hcR97wp.png
