Auchan: products publication

Find out how to sell your products on Auchan, the French multinational retail marketplace.

This procedure aims to explain to you how to use BeezUP to publish your products on the Auchan marketplace.

SUMMARY

1. Prerequisites for selling on the Auchan marketplace

Update frequencies and modes

The product publication period is every 24 hours, that of offers depends on your subscription: dynamic (up to every 5 minutes), every hour or every 2 hours.

Note that they can also be launched manually from the "Publications" page of the marketplace.

Offers publications use "update" mode ('normal' on Mirakl side): publications only send offers matching these criteria:

  • modified offers since last successful publication

  • last publication failed offers

  • deactivated (or removed or filtered) offers since last publication : are sent with quantity=0

Note : if your offers are all exactly similar to last successful publication, next publication will be skipped.

Mandatory product reference

Auchan only accepts products with an EAN, ISBN, MPN, UPC, or VN.

2. Integration Procedure

✔️ If you don't have an account, you can contact their merchant selection department via [email protected].

✔️ Within BeezUP, add "Auchan API" in the "Channels" tab.

✔️ Categorize the categories you wish to submit.

✔️ Map "Auchan API" to submit, at a minimum, all required fields.

⏩ For more information on each field, you can click on the "i" info to obtain explanations.

✔️ Next, go to the API Settings tab and enter your API credentials:

  • Shop ID: which you will find on your Dashboard

  • API Key: which you will find by clicking on your email address in the top right corner

✔️ After activating the Auchan API (switch to ON), within a maximum of 4 hours - if everything is OK - the publications should begin. To verify that the shipments are being sent correctly to Auchan, you can consult the "Latest Publications" tab, which will provide you with all the details necessary for any possible changes to your feed and/or mapping.

✅ The most important thing, if your products have never been created on Auchan, is to ensure that the "product" feeds are OK; these are the ones that allow product creation. Once "OK," ask Auchan to launch product creation.

Once created, your offer feeds will then be "OK" (and no longer "The product does not exist"), which means that your products are now online and therefore purchasable!

✔️ As soon as your first sales are made, they will appear - in BeezUP - in the "Orders" tab and possibly in your PrestaShop / WooCommerce or other back office, if your module is configured for it.

3. Special case of products with variations

If your products have variations such as sizes and/or colors (clothing or shoes, for example), make sure your inbound feed adheres to the specifications indicated here.

If your inbound feed adheres to this structure, you must:

  • Leave the "parent" products; the "parent" products must be transmitted to Auchan.

  • Map the "Article_parent" (parentssku) field to your "Parent ID" (or "Parent SKU") field, or any other field that provides a value common to all products in the same family.

  • Map the fields corresponding to the possible variation axes. To discover the axes authorized by Auchan, you can filter on the "Variation Axis" field in our tool.

4. Attribute Matching

Very often, in your product publication report, you will see a list of error attribute codes. These codes can unfortunately be difficult to interpret. To help you understand their correspondence with the attributes on the mapping page, we have created a portal: click here to discover it.
